Sustainability Policy
A drink for the future, not just for now.
Devoutly opposed to disposable consumerism, food waste, and business at the expense of our planet.
Dedicated to nourishing health, building community, and celebrating local, seasonal produce.
We have pioneered a closed loop bottle scheme to challenge perceptions on consumerism and show that business doesn’t have to cost the earth. My closed-loop bottle system works by offering customers money off when returning empty bottles, thus making it appealing financially whilst encouraging the discussion around our impact regarding current consumer habits!
We are fundamentally opposed to the concept of infinite growth, but instead pursue sustainable growth, which will naturally reach the peak of its curve regarding what it can give, before crossing the line into big corporation. Therefore, maintaining our integrity, authenticity and valued transparency with our customers. We are self-funded and aim to continue that way, so that future profits can be reinvested into much more charitable means, rather than shareholder’s pockets.
Focused on seasonality and local food systems, I'm forever striving to create magic from the ingredients I’m using to produce the very best kombucha! Behind this vehicle of championing local, seasonal produce is a mission to highlight and excite others regarding sustainable eating. We are a vegan company that passionately believes in the ideology of “being the change you wish to see in the earth”, however we steer away from ever forceful or abrasive delivery of these ideals and instead, encourage open conversation and compassion. I already use my platform and the integrity of the brand to share these messages with my customers and followers, when appropriate.
Currently, we are a private limited company as this is necessary to recoup the initial investments made by myself when starting up. However, when the timing is right in future, we plan to become a CIC with the intent to invest any profits available into community projects, which will have a purpose to strengthen peoples’ connection with nature and local food systems.
